Telrunya offers characters a chance to ascend into myth. Through the narrative-based stages of Hallowed and Luminary, your character can become a world-shaping figure, their journey echoing the bones of the Hero’s Journey and the soul of collaborative storytelling.

Hallowed Stage

The Hallowed are no longer ordinary. They have answered the call and left comfort behind.


Requirements

Personalization Questionnaire Fill out your character's form with in-depth goals, traits, and fears.

10 Activity Roleplays Establishing your character as a known figure in the world.

Examples
Sparring with a rival.
Attending a festival.
Saving a civilian.
Running a business or shrine.
Family/Slice of life can only count for half of the required completed roleplay.

1 Meta/Event Participation Join an official world plot or site-wide event.

Examples
Stopping enemy advancement
Taint related events
All Notices and firesides that include plot advancment

3 Required Notices:

Call to Action — Something disrupts the status quo.
Mentor — Someone, or something, offers knowledge, wisdom, or warning.
Crossing the Threshold — The character makes a life-changing choice.

1 Solo Reactionary Post (800-1000 words) A reflective piece processing the above journey.

Player Perks

Upgraded artwork with edits to reflect the role the pae is working towards.

IC Title or recognition.

Added to the Hallowed Roster.

Invited to deeper meta events.

Considered for IC leadership roles.

Luminary Stage

The Luminary is a force of fate. Whether saint or monster, they shape the future.

Requirements

Must be Hallowed

5 Additional Activity RPs (These should show emotional stakes, changes in relationships, or key reputation shifts.)

Examples
Losing a friend.
Leading a rebellion.
Forging an alliance with a former enemy.
Only up to 3 roleplays can include family/slice of life.

3-4 Notice Posts Representing Inner Journey:

Approach the Inmost Cave — Preparing for the greatest test.
Ordeal — A symbolic or literal “death.”
Reward — A revelation or boon.

(Staff may offer additional powers or items here.)

Vision, memory, or future confrontation.

1 Notice: Challenges

A sequence of moral/physical/mental tests.

The final conflict or choice that defines them.

Unique pose artwork of the pae in their new role.

Astrals

"There is no thunderclap. Only quiet recognition when the loom of fate knots your name among the stars."

Requirements

Celestine lineage confirmed
Personalization questionnaire completed (used to tailor involvement).
3–5 RP threads showing the character’s life with Celestine blood (outside of Venus Day).
(Unusual luck, intuition, magic on another level, strange dreams, etc.)
1 direct encounter with the Celestine parent (in a vision, dream, etc).

Notices from the Celestine

The Marking – The child is accepted by the Celestine parent. This can be a glowing sigil, symbolic scar, or sudden bloom of power.
The Task – A small but meaningful trial from their Celestine parent.
Example: deliver a message, heal an enemy, protect a relic.
The Choice – A pivotal moment where they must choose to follow, defy, or define themselves apart from their parent.
Solo Reflection Post
~600–800 words
How do they feel about being chosen?
Do they love or resent their parent?
What does having this power mean to them?

Stage Two Acsencion

Requirements
Completion of Stage One.
3–5 more RP threads reflecting divine growth (Outside of Venus Day).
(Ally-making, training, finding their place, moral dilemmas, etc.)
Notices from the Celestines
Test of Temperament – The Celestines test an emotional weakness (wrath, envy, fear, love, pride).
Gift of Favor – The Celestines bestow a boon: a power, relic, blessing, or title.
Final Contact – The Celestines either says goodbye or reaffirms belief in their child before their fate is sealed.

Final Trial – The Fates Await

This is the character’s meeting with the Moirai (the Fates), played or guided by staff. Possible formats include:

A dream where they see all paths they might walk.
A question that defines them.
A choice to bind themselves to fate… or walk their own path.

Final Solo Post

~800+ words
A story, reflection, or moment that shows their rebirth as an Astral.
How does the world feel now?
Are they proud, burdened, changed?

What to Expect as a Player

Upgraded Astral edits.
Lightly guided, character-driven storytelling.
Emotional growth and divine themes instead of combat or survival.
Direct involvement from your character’s Celestine parent.
A final moment of destiny with the Fates.
Small potential rewards: unique relics, passive boons, hand a sphere of power.
Recognition across Dolandor as a demigod, worshipped, or become a patron saint for a pae village.
