These sects are typically hereditary, but sometimes a fae will show particular prowess for a different sect and can apply to change. This happens between primary and secondary education tracts since the secondary would focus teaching on sect-specific topics
All non void must check in at the hive gate and be on an approved list to visit the libraries, archives, or reliquaries. Travel is only permitted to floors 1 and 2 by these guests
There is an ongoing exchange program with the libraries from the other duchies where items are lent and borrowed accordingly
Post secondary education and specialization occurs in the hive
The Hive: Basement - Layman’s quarters (janitorial staff, culinary staff, engineering and maintenance), kitchens, scullery, laundry service, etc
First floor: council chambers, meeting hall, ballroom, lecture halls
2nd floor: libraries, archives, reliquaries, divination parlors
3rd floor: Council living quarters
4th fl dryw living quarters
5th floor: scolae living quarters
6th floor: myrcts living quarters
More floors can be pulled in/expanded out as needed due to void magic; TARDIS principle: bigger on the inside
